Check-In
Welcome to our lakeside haven. Kindly familiarize yourself with our check-in procedures upon arrival, and don't hesitate to reach out with any inquiries. We trust you'll enjoy a serene retreat by the water!
Check-In Time:
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. Earlier check-ins may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed.
If you anticipate arriving after 9:00 p.m., please notify us beforehand to make special arrangements.
Check-In Location:
Please proceed directly to the Lakeside Vacation Rental property at.
You'll find a keypad by the main entrance upon arrival. The code will be provided via email/text 24 hours before your check-in.
Parking:
Two parking spaces are available in the driveway. If you require additional spaces or have oversized vehicles, please notify us in advance.
Initial Walkthrough:
We recommend that guests do an initial walkthrough of the property to familiarize themselves with the amenities and to ensure everything is in order.
Please immediately report any visible damages or malfunctions to avoid being held responsible upon check-out.
Rental Agreement:
If not already signed electronically, a copy of the rental agreement will be provided for your signature upon arrival. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of your stay.
Pets:
A pet deposit o is required if pets are allowed. All pets should be declared at the time of reservation. Any undeclared pets may result in additional fees or eviction without a refund.
Respect the Environment:
Given the lakeside location, we ask guests to respect the environment. Please avoid littering, disturbing wildlife, or engaging in activities that may harm the lake and its surroundings.
Special Requests:
Should you have any special requests, kindly notify us at least 48 hours before arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Wi-Fi & Amenities Access:
Wi-Fi details and instructions for other amenities will be provided upon check-in or can be found in the welcome booklet inside the property.
Check-out
Things happen, flights and ferries get cancelled, teenagers have breakdowns, or you just aren’t ready to go back to life… for any reason you need to extend your stay or change check-out times, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. We will do what we can to accommodate,; if guests arrive on the same day, we will be unable to.
Packing Up:
Ensure all personal belongings are packed and taken with you.
For the love of god, please take your chargers with you. We know they are often the same colour as the wall. Still, you need them.
Check all drawer closets for any forgotten items.
Kitchen:
Clean and put away any dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Wipe down countertops, stove, microwave, and other appliances.
Empty the refrigerator, freezer and pantry of any perishable items you brought.
Remove all trash and place it in the designated garbage bin.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
You do NOT need to strip beds or launer towels; these are taken offside for professional for cleaning.
Check for personal items left on nightstands or in the bathroom.
Living Area:
Return any moved furniture to its original location.
Turn off all electronics.
Ensure any games, books, or other provided entertainment are returned to their respective places.
Outdoors:
Ensure all outdoor equipment (kayaks, paddleboards, life vests, etc.) are cleaned and returned to storage areas.
Clean the barbecue grill if used.
Dispose of any trash around the property, especially on the lakeshore.
Return outdoor furniture to its original position.
Utilities:
Turn off all lights.
Ensure all windows and doors are locked.
Waste Management:
Remove all trash from the property, place it in the designated bins, or take it with you.
Please follow recycling procedures.
Final Walkthrough:
Walk through the property one last time to ensure nothing is forgotten, and all tasks are completed.
Make sure all taps are turned off and small appliances are unplugged.
Ensure the property is locked upon leaving.
Final Departure:
Once everything is in order and you're ready to leave, ensure your vehicle doesn't leave any trash or debris.
